Giacomo Chetoni, strenght and conditioning coach of A.S. Livorno Calcio’s Under19 Team, proposes three drills to test passing quality.

1°: ten passes at a 15 m distance from the target (five with the right foot, five with the left one)

2°: six passes at a 25 m distance from the target (three with the right foot, three with the left one)

3°: four aerial and long passes at a 35-40 m distance from a square area. The ball has to drop in the centre of the area. (two with the right foot, two with the left one)
